Before we booked, several friends who had sailed with Atlantis described it as an experience worth doing: a fun, social crowd, themed nights, and dance parties that often run deep into the morning. They also stressed that none of that is mandatory—the ship still has comedy, karaoke, live music, and quieter corners if you want a different pace for the evening.
They were right. We had an excellent time on our cruise. The energy on board lived up to what people promised, and it was easy to mix high-tempo nights with whatever else we felt like doing.
Port Stops
Destinations visited on this cruise.
Mazatlán
Old Town Mazatlán is genuinely beautiful, and unlike the resort strip, it feels like an actual city.
Ensenada
First port out of Long Beach. Street food, Valle de Guadalupe wine country nearby, and an easy morning off the ship.
Cabo San Lucas
The arch, the sea, and about ten thousand people on the beach. Still worth it.
